Smiling happy staff whisk me to the dressing room where I am handed white towels and soft Atlantic sized dressing robes.

Everything is here, except champagne but then I am sure if I asked a bottle or glass would arrive in minutes. However, I am here to try the new X body exercise regime. The trainer quickly zipped me up and I was soon in the gym, a bit of running and squats with the body suit on. It is quick and easy to use and I felt the pressure points on my muscles working immediately. I enjoyed the session and look forward to using the suit more.

I did think that I would feel the effects the next day and I did notice some muscles but only briefly. Having a sauna and steam helped afterwards.

Designed by the interior architect Didier Gomez, Spa Metropole by Givenchy reflects the distinctive and elegant style, sophistication and modernity of the renowned fashion house. Since its opening in April 2017, the spa offers a luxurious haven to all visitors inside one of the most prestigious address’ in Monaco.

“I was invited to try the new X body by Fuse Concept. A lightweight body suit that focuses on certain areas of the body that you would like to work on either to improve or help an injury or for toning that area.

After a 30 minute session I enjoyed the peace and tranquility of my favourite spa.”

X Body by Fuse Concept is now available exclusively at Spa Metropole by Givenchy until the 30 June 2019 and will remain at the hotel after this date. This X Body by Fuse Concept optimises a sport session using muscular electrostimulation that allows muscle relief, improved posture, reduce cellulite, refine the silhouette and revitalise your skin.

A personalised assessment is carried out by a coach at the beginning of each session for optimised results. The equipment then delivers electric pulses pre-programmed via an electrodes system. This system causes selected muscles to contract and depending on your chosen goal of the session, the desired muscular groups to work. The results of a 1.5 hour gym session in… 20 minutes. A revolution!

Prices at €110 for a 30 minute X Body by Fuse session or €170 for a 30 minute session followed by 25 minutes of muscular coaching.
