Wine estate

Symmetry, elegance and poetry reflected in this peaceful Chateau

Bright red roses will greet you at the chateau following your journey up the entrance which is embraced with mature vines. A fairy tale introduction to a formal residence resonating with a friendly established charm. The estate is situated in Var, Provence and dates from 1895 and is currently dusted in a pretty creamy pink facade offset with grey shutters. Two winding pathways wrap around the entrance to the back of the Bastide, which leads to a circular pond within a formal garden of lemon trees. Although the estate has its formalities it is the perfect setting to dream.

The interior decor is soft and welcoming with each room being a little different to accommodate your mood or purpose. The kitchen has a casual modern aspect as well as being spacious and great for family time or entertaining.

The leisure areas are extensive to include an elegant (12x25m), heated infinity mirrored swimming pool with a shaded dining, lounging area. A space reminding one of the film ‘Casablanca’.

The chateau is separate from the wine buildings and has amazing views over the manicured land, which covers a private park of 2 hectares. Within the bastide, there is also a restored chapel. This has been updated to a high quality with respect initiated and a regard to maintaining the original features and stonework.

There are also six independent dwellings for staff and many wine buildings. The whole estate comprises of 100 hectares of contiguous lands (may be fenced) comprising for the most part vines and 66 ha of woods to include a private hunting ground with hares, roes, wild boars enhanced by a small lake.

The private area stretches on 2 ha and offers a formal garden adorned with stone elements, fountain, ponds, many Lebanon cedars, cypresses. All complemented by an olive grove and a vegetable garden.
